With a carefully considered, well informed approach to diagnosis and treatment of life-threatening heart conditions, Einstein-Montefiore’s interventional cardiologists conduct the full range of academic medical activity, including:

innovative scientific research to improve treatment methods and devices
comprehensive residency and fellowship training for the next generation of interventional cardiologists
leading-edge diagnostic testing and treatment—from cardiac catheterization to percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs) such as angioplasty and stent—for patients with conditions including:
- coronary artery disease
- valvular heart disease
- diabetes
- congestive heart failure
fully integrated diagnostic and treatment laboratories conducting approximately 7,000 diagnostic and treatment procedures annually
