2013-2015 Faculty Development Fellows
We are pleased to announce that Conair Guilliames, MD and Asiya Tschannerl, MD have been selected as faculty development fellows for the 2013-2015 fellowship cycle. They both began the fellowship on July 1, 2013. Welcome!
Conair Guilliames, MD
Dr. Conair Guilliames is a recent graduate of the RPSM Family
Medicine Residency Program at Montefiore Medical Center. She was born and
raised in the Bronx, NY. She attended The
George Washington University as an undergraduate and the Albert Einstein College
of Medicine for medical school. During
residency, Dr. Guilliames worked on various academic medicine projects
including efforts to promote diverse medical student and resident interest in
academic medicine careers. In addition to her role as a faculty development fellow,
she also has an administrative role as chief resident. Conair’s interests
include community health education, mentoring, reading, and spending time with
family and friends.
Asiya Tschannerl, MD
Dr. Asiya Tschannerl is a faculty member and team leader in the Family and Social Medicine Residency Program. She was chief resident after completing her residency in Family Medicine at Montefiore. During her fellowship, Asiya is interested in continuing her work with residents on health activism, and hopes to create a curricular guide for physicans and health educators.
