Health Career Connection (HCC) inspires and empowers undergraduate students to choose healthcare and public health careers by providing real-world exposure, experience and support that assists them in achieving their goals. HCC will:
- Assist students to discover and realize their full potential.
- Address the underrepresentation of people of color in the health professions and connect them to organizations seeking diverse talent; and 3) Foster the development of emerging leaders capable and committed to providing innovative solutions to today’s complex healthcare challenges.

HCC achieves these goals by providing our students with paid summer internships in a broad range of leading health organizations in its five regions (Northern, Central and Southern California, New England and New York/New Jersey). It also connects interns to mentors, leadership development, professional networks, web-accessible information and contacts for healthcare management careers and educational options.
Be undergraduate students or recent graduates interested in healthcare, health administration, community health, public health, nursing administration and public health aspects of clinical practice, as well as other health-related disciplines. Students from all majors can apply
Be college juniors, seniors or recent graduates. However, we also consider sophomores and freshmen who demonstrate a commitment to healthcare, academic achievement, maturity and prior work experience
