Kurt C. Stange, MD PhD is a family physician and epidemiologist with an active clinical practice. He serves as editor for the peer-reviewed, indexed, primary care research journal, the Annals of Family Medicine, and directs the multi-site Center for Research in Family Practice and Primary Care, one of three research centers funded by the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Stange is actively engaged in ongoing basic and applied research that aims to understand the core structures and processes of primary care practice and their effect on preventive service delivery and patient outcomes, and to discover new methods of enhancing the comprehensive, integrative and relationship-centered generalist approach to patient care.
Come join over 100 NYC RING participating clinicians, researchers, and investigators from throughout our partner sites as they showcase the wide variety of practice-based research and quality improvement actives being conducted, and to discuss opportunities for collaboration.
Submitting your work for presenting at Convocation:
We would also like to invite you to share your work with the NYC RING community, whether it be a small quality improvement project or funded research. We are particularly interested in research conducted in multiple sites, as well as topics of mental and medical care integration and group visits. Please fill out the registration form and submit your abstract (approximately 300 words) here by Monday August 24, 2015. You can begin and save your registration form, but all submissions must be completed by Monday August 24, 2015 at 5pm.

If you have (or are going to prepare) a poster for another conference, you may present this poster at the NYC RING Convocation.
We ask that you complete the registration form by Monday August 24, 2015.
If you would like to prepare a storyboard for Convocation, please use this template as a guide for preparing your slides. Please limit your presentation to 15 slides.
We ask that you complete the registration form, an abstract (directions in application), and your completed storyboard template by Monday August 24, 2015. We will then print and prepare the slides for presentation in poster format.
All presentation submissions must also include an abstract (approximately 300 words).
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Claudia Lechuga. We are happy to help out with preparing storyboards and addressing any logistical issues in getting your poster/storyboard to the convocation.

The NYC RING Convocation is an annual gathering of NYC RING participating clinicians, researchers, and investigators from throughout partner sites. The event showcases the wide variety of practice-based research and quality improvement activities being conducted, and provides an opportunity to discuss opportunities for collaboration.
