Jacobi/Montefiore Emergency Medicine Residency Program

Medical Students

A four week Emergency Medicine elective is available to allow students to experience the diverse and unique nature of our training program, the fast pace of a busy, ACS Designated Level I Trauma Center and the vast pathology of a tertiary care, university hospital. Students will have primary patient care responsibilities from doorway to diagnosis to disposition while being taught and supervised by an energetic and enthusiastic group of faculty and residents. Visitors will also have the opportunity to attend daily resident conferences and case discussions as well as the student lecture and workshop series.
