RELATE

REHABILITATION, EVALUATION, AND LEARNING FOR AUTISTIC INFANTS AND TODDLERS AT EINSTEIN

The RELATE program offers in-depth multidisciplinary diagnostic evaluations and treatment for children, birth to preschool, with language, social, and/or behavioral difficulties including Autism and other related disorders.

Available services include

  • Multidisciplinary diagnostic clarification utilizing state of the art instruments for the diagnosis of Autism in infants and toddlers
     
  • Formulation of a comprehensive intervention plan with specific recommendations
     
  • On-going follow-up and assistance for families in advocating for school programs and therapeutic services
     
  • Referral for appropriate additional medical work-up, including genetics, neurology, and gastroenterology, as needed
     

Center-based services include

  • Development pediatrics
     
  • Speech and language therapy
     
  •  Physical and occupational therapy
     
  •  Multidisciplinary feeding group and nutrition for management of behavioral feeding disorders
     
  •  Parent/child dyadic therapy, behavior management and parent support
     
  •  Evaluation and management of toe-walking. including prescribing and fabrication of adaptive equipment
     
  •  Pharmacotherapy for management of behavior problems


The Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center provides multidisciplinary evaluation and treatment for children of all ages with Autistic Spectrum Disorders. The center participates in the New York City Early Intervention program. Bilingual (Spanish) services are available.
