Other Tuition Coverage Options

Yeshiva University Tuition Programs: Yeshiva University offers a variety of tuition benefits to all eligible employees.  In order to receive any type of tuition benefits, you must apply through the Human Resources Department.  The Chief Human Resources Officer is responsible for the interpretation and administration of all policies.

Certain categories of employees are eligible for tuition remission (100% coverage of tuition) and others are eligible for tuition reimbursement.  Certificate programs are not eligible for tuition remission.

Details regarding all types of tuition support and application forms are available on the Yeshiva University website at: www.yu.edu/hr under Benefits at YU/Tuition Programs.  For information regarding your specific tuition benefits, please contact Priscilla Greer at the YU Human Resources Department: 718.430.3421; priscilla.greer@einstein.yu.edu

If you believe you are eligible for tuition remission, you need to begin the process of applying so that by the first day of class permission has been received.  Registration for the upcoming semester must be completed before submitting your application for tuition remission.  Tuition remission benefits are not retroactive and will continue only as long as the employee is eligible.

If you are eligible for tuition reimbursement, please note that your tuition must still be paid in full before the first day of class.

We strongly advise that you contact Barbara Wirchin in the Human Resources Department at least 1 month prior to the start of the semester to find out what your benefits are to begin the process of applying.  Please note: Approval from your department head is required on applications for any type of tuition benefit.

Upon approval of your application, the Human Resources Department will contact Student Finance to advise them of your benefits.  Student Finance will adjust your account accordingly.
