Einstein Diabetes Research Center investigators are engaged in intervention development and evaluation for prevention of diabetes and its complications, research in health disparities, epidemiologic and geographic/environmental studies, and cost analyses.
Areas of interest include:
- interventions to promote lifestyle change for weight loss and obesity prevention in adults and children
- adherence to preventive and therapeutic medications
- promotion of screening for diabetic retinopathy among African American and Hispanic individuals with diabetes
