	Ms. Neema Bourai's research project entitled "Molecular studies on DacB2, a low molecular weight penicillin binding protein form M. tuberculosis and its homolog MSMEG2432 from M.smegmatis". The project involved characterization of DacB2 and MSMEG2432 by using over-expression and deletion strategy and to see the consequences on the physiology of the organism. She learned advanced techniques during her stay in AECOM and applied them for further study in India. The manuscript for publication is under preparation and will be communicated shortly. After completing her study, she plans to establish herself as a research associate in a reputed institute in India. Publication related to AITRP Research: Manuscript is under preparation
