Dr. Lovely Joshi Kallely visited Einstein AITRP in 2008 as a post doctoral fellow from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi where she had been working under the guidance of Dr. Rama Chaudhry. Her research project was "Molecular Epidemiology of Clostridium difficile in HIV patients". The collaborative research Dr. Joshi conducted was with Dr. Brian Currie and Dr. Paul Riska as her US mentors. Her work has resulted in an abstract accepted for presentation as a poster in the Society for Healthcare Epidemiology of America (SHEA) 2009 (1) and a manuscript reporting these results is in preparation.
