General Information 

The awards are designed to support talented biomedical scientists in their academic research careers.

Awards are expected to range from $70,000-$100,000 payable in five equal annual installments.


Einstein is eligible to nominate two candidates.

A nominee should have a doctoral degree and have achieved full-time faculty status.
[Note: Faculty are eligible for this award until they are promoted to full Professor. However, beginning Assistant Professors should not apply. Associate Professors who are no longer eligible for junior faculty awards from outside agencies, and who have established a productive, scientifically outstanding and well-funded research program at Einstein, are excellent candidates for this award].

Awards are not transferable and are not renewable.

Applications should contain a supporting nomination letter from their Departmental chairman.
