CITI Online Training Module

Albert Einstein College of Medicine (Einstein) has contracted with the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) computer-based training program as an adjunct to the on-site training.  The CITI courses have the advantage of reducing classroom time for investigative staff. Convenient online access permits learners to complete course content on their own schedule and sign in anytime to view their progress, update profile information, access completion reports, and more.  The on-site face to face training sessions are Einstein specific and involve hands on training.

The CITI program has been developed in modules and will take from 1-5 hours to complete, depending on species and type of procedure being performed. Online and on-site/wet lab (hands-on / face to face classes/es) coursework must be completed prior to approval of an animal use protocol or addendum and prior to entering the animal facility.

For instructions on how to access the CITI website download the Instructions.
