Research, testing, and teaching/training activities that propose the use of fertilized/embryonated avian eggs, including chicken eggs, requires an animal use protocol. Said animal use protocol must be reviewed and approved by the Animal Institute Committee at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, prior to research, testing and teaching/training.
